Important information concerning your booking

Extension to a course is possible at a special extension rate after the third day of the course.

Private lessons take place whatever the weather

Cancellation of private lessons incurs no charge if made befre 16:00 the day prior to the planned lesson. Thereafter a charge of 50% of the private lesson price applies.

Tickets for lessons are non-transferable. Tickets for unused course days simply expire.

A change of instructor for your lessons may be necessary at any time for organisational reasons.

We accept no liability for any accidents that may occur during or prior to ski instruction. It is the responsibility of the course participant to arrange suitable accident and liability insurance.

Typing errors and changes reserved.

All products and services provided by the Skischule Maria Alm through online bookings via the Internet or through other online services are subject to these general terms and conditions.

Once products have been handed to delivery companies and have left storage, responsibility for them lies with the customer. This also applies in cases when the Skischule Maria Alm has undertaken delivery costs. Any claims due to damage during transit must be taken up with the delivery company within the required deadline period. In cases of deliveries from a customer to the Skischule Maria Alm, the customer is responsible for any risk, especially risk during transit, until the delivery has arrived at the Skischule Maria Alm in Austria.

The Skischule Maria Alm reserves the right to collect details of the customer in the framework of a business relationship, and to store and process these details. In cases of individual points of these general terms and conditions not applying, the rest still remain in force. Any in validated term will be replaced by a valid term which in its commercial implications will be as close to the invalidated term as possible. The place of fulfilment and jurisdiction for any contracts completed under these general terms and conditions is Saalfelden.

If a group reduces to fewer than 4 participants, we reserve the right to combine it with another group or reduce the number of lessons.
A refund due to injury or illness is only possible on production of a doctor’s certificate. Only days not used (difference in price) will be refunded



Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement. The domain where you enter and process your payment is owned and operated by TREKKSOFT.Please send an e-mail to for all inquiries regarding your credit card payments and chargebacks.

Any deliveries and services provided by the ski school through online orders or other online services are subject to these general terms and conditions.


Online range of products and services

The ski school / ski hire (later referred to as the “author”) assumes no liability for the correctness, completeness, or quality of the information provided, nor for it being current.
Any liability claims against the author referring to damages, whether material or otherwise, that arise through the use or non-use of the published information or the use of inaccurate or incomplete information are excluded unless it can be demonstrated that the author has acted wilfully or has been grossly negligent.

All offers are subject to change and are non-binding. The author expressly reserves the right to amend, change or delete pages or parts of pages, or to delete the entire content without prior notice.

In the case of direct or indirect reference to any third party Internet websites (“links) which lie outside the responsibility of the author, liability would only and exclusively be accepted if the author possessed knowledge of such and if it would have been technically possible and feasible for the author to have prevented the use of such illegal content.

Ski and snowboard course bookings and reservations

Use of the ski lifts is not included in the price of lessons. The ski school will provide no refund or replacement in cases of lessons not taking place due to ski lifts not operating.


Ski and snowboard equipment rental and reservation

Customers who rent equipment are liable up to the full retail price of the rented items for the return of equipment in a proper condition.

The rental business is entitled to demand some form of security in the form of a document (passport, personal ID, driving licence) or a deposit. Leaving such a form of security does not necessarily automatically cover the potential purchase price of the equipment.


Place of jurisdiction, place of fulfilment and governing law

 The place of fulfilment is the central office of the ski school/ski rental. In the event of any dispute, the court with jurisdiction at the location of the headquarters of the ski school/ski rental will adjudicate the matter. Austrian law applies. The contract language is German.
