Keep the spirit in your heart. If you already have experience with the snowboard on the practice meadow & piste, but still want to have a fine-tuning in terms of carven, freestyle, powder and deep snow, we are the right place for you. In the snowboard school HeadQuarters of the ski school Maria Alm is offers group lessons and private lessons for advanced snowboarders.

Snowboard Courses & Instruction Programmes

  • Course start: Monday, additional start days during the Christmas period
  • Carving course: Many skiers and snowboarders don't know how to use the new material. We will show you how to get on the edges. Each slope becomes a pleasure
  • Freestyle I: Learn the newest tricks like Nose Roll, Tail Roll and 180° turn in a playful way
  • Power Technique Lesson: Short turns, jump turns, carving on medium-steep and steep terrain. Parallel flexion turns, bumpy slope.
  • Powder and Freestyle II: Powder snow on flat terrain with a continuous increase of the level to steeper terrain with more snow. Jumping small kickers, and sliding on boxes.
  • Jip & Ride Freestyle III: Depending on the weather we will teach you powder snowboarding on the coolest hills and the newest tricks in the Funpark.

Snowboard course full day (4 hours)

Note

You are considered advanced if you can confidently perform frontside and backside turns on flat terrain.

Course times

Full day 4.25 hours: 9.45 am - 12.00 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm

Start days: Monday and Wednesday

Info: Snowboard courses only take place during holiday periods!

  • Full-day courses take place from 5 participants

If the required number of course participants is not reached, the course can be changed to private lessons.

Snowboard Lessons in Full Swing

At the Maria Alm Ski School & the HeadQuarters Snowboard School, winter sports students are in the best hands. The snowboard courses are taught by experienced instructors based on each participant’s level and learning goals.

Group courses are divided according to experience levels, and the Level Pass helps match the courses with those already attended.

The courses start at the specified times at the designated meeting point in the Hochkönig ski area. From there, the group lessons begin, and it’s off to conquer the slopes!

If you prefer a private instructor for your snowboard lessons, the private snowboard course is the perfect choice.

By the way: we also offer beginner snowboard courses!

No snowboard? No problem!

For all returners who already have snowboarding experience but don’t own their own board, we offer the perfect infrastructure. Thanks to the rental service at INTERSPORT Maria Alm, you can rent modern skis and snowboards.
