With the Head Quarters Snowboard School, the Maria Alm Ski School offers an attractive program for everyone who wants to learn snowboarding. The beginner snowboard courses are suitable for children from 7 years old and for adults. Group courses are divided according to the participants’ experience level.
Group courses for snowboard beginners
Snowboarding is easy to learn thanks to the newest techniques and the perfect equipment.

- Course start: Sunday and Wednesday at 9.45 am

Our snowboard instructors are highly trained and first teach beginners the basic techniques such as sliding, edging, J-turns, and frontside and backside turns with assistance on the practice slope.
With the latest techniques and perfectly matched equipment, learning to snowboard becomes child's play. All beginners who don't have their own snowboard gear can rent high-quality equipment from the rental service at Intersport Maria Alm.

Snowboard private lessons
If you prefer learning to snowboard with a private instructor rather than in a group course, you can of course book a private lesson for children or adults. In private lessons, the content is tailored to individual learning goals – which means children can participate from the age of 4!
